Not seeing your exact struggle listed doesn’t mean we can’t work together! The areas I highlight are the ones I focus on most often, but therapy is rarely one-size-fits-all. If you’re resonating with the overall feel of my approach, reach out! We can talk more about whether it’s a good fit.

Oregon
Louisiana

Yes! I offer in-person sessions in Shreveport, Louisiana.
My office is conveniently located off of I-20 and is wheelchair accessible.

I use a HIPAA-secure platform called TherapyNotes for our sessions, as well as for the majority of administrative needs. You will access the client portal to join our sessions, contact me via Messenger, and see billing statements
Oregon law requires the client to be physically located in Oregon at the time of service.
-
My session fee is $85 and is due at the time of service.

At this time, I do not accept insurance. I am happy to provide a super bill for out-of-network reimbursement.

Typically, the first session begins with some brief administrative information and allows time to answer any questions you may have about the Intake forms. Other than that, the majority of time will be spent getting to know you and what is bringing you into therapy. I like to go at your pace, which means this may carry over into our second session. Think of updating someone you haven’t talked to in 3 months about life’s happenings! We will collaborate to identify some goals you’d like to work towards to use as our map.
-
Before our first session, I will send you the Intake forms via your client portal. I will need you to complete these before attending our first session!
I would also like you to reflect on what you’d like to get out of therapy (i.e. set better boundaries with myself, process my experience with trauma, etc.)

The duration of your treatment isindividually based on your needs. Unfortunately, I am unable to give you a projected estimate. However, I do frequently check in with you to assess the progress towards your goals. Based on these check-ins, we can start talking about bringing your time in services to an end.
At the onset of treatment, I prefer to meet with you weekly as we are establishing a therapeutic relationship. After 4-8 weeks, we can reassess the frequency of sessions.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have or aren't using insurance an estimate of the expected total charges for any non-emergency healthcare services services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask any health care provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Be sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
